Provence is rightly renowned for the quality of its food and local products (peaches, strawberries, cherries, melons, asparagus - you name it). The region benefits from its climate and a water table that gives the countryside all its colours.
Here you will find the best fruit, vegetables, herbs, not to mention the fish caught in the Mediterranean or the lambs raised on the heights of the Luberon. Unsurprisingly, many great chefs are attracted to the area.
