Description

Set in a peaceful, unspoiled environment, this 220 m² Provençal mas welcomes you to a stay defined by calm, comfort, and the Provençal art of living. Everything here is new, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed so that everyone can enjoy both shared moments and private time. An ideal setting for a holiday in Provence, just a few minutes from the centre of Oppède.

The house can accommodate up to 10 guests and 2 babies and features 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

In the morning, you will open the shutters to the golden light of the Luberon and enjoy your coffee overlooking the vineyards. The house offers generous volumes and an atmosphere that is both elegant and welcoming. The ground floor is arranged around a large, light-filled living space with a lounge, dining area, and open kitchen — perfect for cooking, sharing a glass of local wine, or enjoying long evenings around the table. A wine cellar completes the kitchen for wine lovers.

The house is equipped with underfloor cooling on the ground floor, air conditioning upstairs, and Wi-Fi and fibre-internet.

The ground floor also includes a guest WC and a double bedroom (queen-size bed) with its own shower room.

Upstairs:

  • Two bedrooms, each with two single beds (80×200) that can be made into a double bed, each with its own shower room
  • A separate WC on the landing
  • A large suite (king-size bed) with its own bathroom (double sinks, bathtub and shower) and WC.

Accessible via a second staircase from the living room, another large double bedroom (king-size bed) with its own shower room (double sinks, shower, and WC) offers a more private, secluded space.

Outside, the enclosed 2,000 m² garden, surrounded by vineyards, invites you to slow down and enjoy the Provençal lifestyle: swimming in the heated pool (4 m x 10.5 m, secured with a rolling cover), long summer evenings around the barbecue, sunset aperitifs, and that rare feeling of being in the countryside while still being just a few minutes from the centre of Oppède.

The property and the village of Oppède are approximately 40 kilometres from Avignon and 75 kilometres from Aix-en-Provence. The nearest airport is Marseille Provence Airport, and the closest train station is Avignon TGV.

The neighbourhood

Oppède is a charming village divided into two distinct parts. In the valley, the present-day village is home to local shops and everyday life, while perched on a rocky outcrop above, Oppède-le-Vieux reveals a timeless setting, with its cobbled streets, old stone houses, and remnants of its medieval past. The village offers a grocery shop, a bakery, a post office, and a few restaurants. Just a few minutes’ drive away, Gordes, named “Most Beautiful Village in the World” by Travel & Leisure magazine, is one of the region’s must-see destinations.

The property has private parking for five cars.

We recommend that travellers wishing to stay at this property have a car. However, The Luberon Concierge can arrange to pick guests up from the airport or train station, and a chauffeur is available upon request during their stay.

Cancelation policy

Cancellation Policy

This contract is binding from the date of signature and deposit payment. If the Owner does not receive the deposit within three days, this contract will be automatically cancelled.

If the Main Guest wishes to cancel this contract, they must inform the Owner immediately in writing. The 30% deposit is non-refundable and will be retained by the Owner.

If the Main Guest cancels less than 30 days before the arrival date, all amounts paid by the Main Guest will be retained by the Owner, except for the security deposit.

In the unlikely event that the Owner must cancel this contract if unforeseeable circumstances or Force Majeure make enjoyment of the property impossible, the Owner will refund the Main Guest the total amount paid for the reservation. No compensation will be granted.
